ProSaw-320 lathe
Beam machine ProSAW-320 – is the optimal solution for completing an automated line for processing semi- or automatic timber. The universal complex of medium capacity is designed for production of two-sided timber (carriage) by sawing roundwood up to 3.0-6.5 m in length within 320 mm. The two-sided arrangement provides sawing of logs with a bar or using the “collapse” technology to produce, in addition to the bar, two humpbars and a podgorbyl board. The estimated capacity of the machine is to process up to 160-210 round logs or up to 320 cubic metres of timber per shift.

Paneling machine ProSAW is assembled according to a twin-shaft scheme based on the following units and mechanisms
- Frame made of thick-walled channels and square-section supports, reinforced with ribs.
- Tracked conveyor with top clamps to feed the workpieces to the receiving table.
- A set of pneumatic-type top presses in tandem with the V-track ensures that the deck is accurately aligned during cutting.
- Set of drive-type exhaust rollers mounted at the exit of the machine.
- Two saw shafts with the possibility of mounting up to 6 circular saws each.
- Movable upper roller with quick change mechanism for cutting elements allows for quick adjustment of the machine for cutting thinner workpieces.
- A 500 mm diameter set of saws ensures that round workpieces are cut from the inside with the minimum kerf thickness.
- Transporter with a set of knives ensuring the separation of lumber into a beam, slab and board.
- Two main electric drives with a capacity of 35 and 45 (22 and 55) kW.
- Set of electric feed drives with a total capacity of 9.5 kW.
- Mechanism for chip collection and disposal.
- Switching, control and protection unit with remote panel and remote control.

Principle of work
The round billet is loaded onto the reception table using a tracked conveyor. Here it is picked up by a pusher and pushed on V-track to the saw unit. The log is securely locked in place by the top clamps until the sawing is completed from the inside.
Whipping knives mounted on the output conveyor ensure that the lumber is separated into the following fractions: bar, board and slab. The processed workpieces are moved to the sorting line using a cross conveyor belt.

- Convenient. Installation of a set of extraction rollers at the outlet prevents unintentional ejection of uncut blanks towards the reception table. Simple layout ensures comfortable maintenance and repair.
